Design and Development

Web Design and Development is not a simple task of just slapping some pictures and info on a page, and calling it a web site.  Many factors can hinder the success of your site. 

Your site's design must welcome users, and entice them to come in and look around. Your information should be clearly laid out and easy to navigate,  and the entire site must contain a look and feel that is geared toward your target audience.  If possibly even offer a variety of value added services. (for more info read Value Added Services  Colours, content, look, feel, ease of use, and performance must all be considered when performing the initial design of your site.  Too much glamour and you'll distract viewers from your products and services, to little, and you may lack the luster to keep your new potentially interested customers interested. 

The development of your site is similar to road map, "Where do you plan to go, and how do you plan to get there?"  Do you have a specific goal that you wish to achieve with your web site.  If it's possible that the goal may not be achievable in one smooth step, your development schedule should incorporate a series of stages to get you to your final destination.  It may even be necessary that your site requires ongoing development, because it will be constantly changing.
